What is it?

Did you know your vagina is home to billions of bacteria that play a pivotal role in your intimate health?

SMART STRAINS® for your vaginal microbiome is specially formulated with Lactobacillus acidophilus La-14®, Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001™ and lactoferrin – scientifically proven to colonise the vagina and reduce candida growth.

Each capsule provides 5 billion live bacteria and 50mg lactoferrin (from milk), replicating the formulation used in human scientific trials. It’s backed by science, for your confidence.

Who is it for?

Suitable for women and girls over the age of 12. Take at the first sign of any changes in your vaginal microbiome. If on antibiotics or antifungal treatment, take daily alongside them for the duration of the course and continue for at least 3 months after treatment has ended.

SMART STRAINS® for your vaginal microbiome is yeast free, gluten free and contains no added sugars, sweeteners, flavours or preservatives. Suitable in pregnancy and the menopause.

How to take?

During antibiotic or antifungal treatment, take 2 capsules daily.

For ongoing maintenance: take 1 capsule daily. Swallow each capsule whole with a glass of water.

Preferably take 2 hours apart from any antibiotics or antifungals.

What's in it?

Ingredients per capsule - 5 billion live bacteria (5x10[sup]9[/sup]):

Fructooligosaccharide fibre, Lactoferrin (milk) (50mg), Lactobacillus acidophilus La-14®, Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001™, anti-caking agent: vegetable magnesium stearate. Vegetable capsule: hypromellose.

  • The Right Strain

    Lactobacillus acidophilus La-14® and Lactobacillus rhamnosus HNOOl™ are scientifically proven to colonise the vagina and decrease candida growth. With additional Lactoferrin (from milk), scientifically proven to increase Lactobacillus growth and decrease Gardnerella Vaginalis in the vagina.

  • The Right Time

    Take at the first sign of any changes in your vaginal microbiome. If on an antibiotic or antifungal treatment, take daily throughout and continue for at least 3 months after treatment has ended. Suitable for girls and women above 12 years.

  • The Right Way

    Directions: Swallow each capsule whole with a glass of water. Preferably take 2 hours apart from any antibiotics or antifungals.

    Dosage: During antibiotic or antifungal treatment, take 2 capsules daily. Provides the recommended 10 billion live La-14® and HN001™ + 100mg Lactoferrin. For ongoing maintenance: take 1 capsule daily.

The best product I've came across

I've been on 4 antibiotics in last 6 weeks due to misdiagnosis. After the first lot of antibiotics I got vaginal thrush I had to take 7 days course strong medication for it while on antibiotics no 2 that's whe I discovered smart strains. When my infection came back and I had to take antibiotics no 3 I took 2 vaginal microbiome a day It worked. When I was put on the 4th strongest antibiotic I was still taking smart strains and never got thrush again. I'm taking now one a day and as perimenapausal woman I can feel the benefits. Definitely worked for me!

Took these alongside the one for antibiotics as I had a seven day course of antibiotics following dental treatment. So pleased I had no tummy or vaginal thrush issues which I've had in the past when taking antibiotics.
